Why doing it all is impossible and that's okay!

This month I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of offer you a step by step tutorial on how to diagram a sentence or detailing the importance of active versus passive voice (exciting concepts, I know), I wanted to get personal with you. Our readers send in a lot of requests for topics, and one of the most common struggles we see is that of time. We never seem to have enough time, do we? We are always rushing for the next holiday season, the next big trend, the next payday, or the next deadline. We never seem to have the time to do the things we want to do.
As entrepreneurs, we wear many hats. It might sound trite at first, but the reality is that we sometimes wear so many hats that we forget who we are and why we started doing this in the first place. The topic for this article came to me after getting an email from a reader that asked me how I juggle my day job with my business. Like many of you, I have a traditional day job and my small business. I have a boss, and I am my own boss. It's an interesting dichotomy, and I'll fully admit that sometimes finding a balance can be difficult. In addition to being your trusty editor for The Handmade Seller magazine, I am also the owner of The Write Assistant LLC and a full-time physician assistant. I often joke that I don't sleep much. At least, I don't sleep well. So, as my reader asked, how do I do it?
