Etsy has released new findings on the latest wedding trends – just in time for the planning season!

Less isn’t enough anymore. This year, brides are embracing maximalism – especially when it comes to their wedding dresses.

Statement sleeves are just one of the noteworthy trends born out of the ‘more is more’ mindset. Brides are in love with unique, romantic, and Insta-worthy sleeves that make their wedding dresses stand out.

In the past three months alone, Etsy saw a huge surge in the demand for statement sleeves. The platform reported over 155,000 searches for ‘wedding dresses with sleeves.’

Veil Alternatives

Speaking of unique twists on traditionalism, brides are no longer interested in the classic bridal veil. They’re looking for new, quirky alternatives to make sure they turn heads. Literally!

From bridal hats to turbans, veil alternatives are rapidly increasing in popularity. Last wedding season (November-January), Etsy reported over 43K searches for ‘bridal headpieces.’ The platform predicts this trend to grow even bigger this year.
