Facebook Confirmed It’s Testing A New Email Marketing Tool

Businesses may soon be able to send marketing emails directly via Facebook. The social media giant announced earlier this year that it is testing an email marketing tool for small to medium-sized businesses. This new tool will allow business pages to upload contact lists, create and send emails, and track their performance all without leaving the Facebook platform.

Twitter Launches Audio Tweets

Twitter is rolling out a new feature that allows users to record short audio clips and attach them to their tweets. “Sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation. So [...] we’re testing a new feature that will add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter — your very own voice,” shared Twitter’s Maya Patterson and Rémy Bourgoin in a blog post. While the feature is only available to a limited group of people at the moment, it’s soon said to launch across the entire platform.
