Facebook online shopping, new Pinterest board features, and PayPal contactless payments

Could Facebook Revolutionize Online Shopping?
While both Facebook and Instagram already allow businesses to list products on their platforms, the social network’s latest feature, Facebook Shops, will go a step further by enabling businesses to create a full-fledged online shop.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the new feature in a live stream, explaining that Facebook Shops will make it easier for businesses to set up a single online store. “That of course means there’ll be higher conversions and more sales for small businesses,” said Zuckerberg.
The new tool, which is free, is available for anyone with a Facebook Business Account. Product listings can be set up on Facebook Pages, Instagram profiles, Stories and in ads. In the future, businesses will even be able to sell products through chat features in WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct as well as during Facebook and Instagram live streams.
In a press release, the company explained, “Right now many small businesses are struggling, and with stores closing, more are looking to bring their business online. Our goal is to make shopping seamless and empower anyone from a small business owner to a global brand to use our apps to connect with customers. That’s why we’re launching Facebook Shops and investing in features across our apps that inspire people to shop and make buying and selling online easier.”
With this revolutionary new feature, any seller, no matter their size or budget, can connect with customers and bring their business online.
