According to a new report from Trust Insights, engagement rates on Instagram have decreased rapidly between January and June of this year. While in April 2019, the average engagement rate (= the total number of engagements on a post divided by the size of the account’s following at the time of posting) for branded Instagram accounts was 1.2%, it has now gone down to 0.9%. That’s a significant decline.
