My Container Studio
Discover the inspiring journey of a ceramic artist's workspace, from Etsy beginnings to a spacious 900 sq ft studio that transformed her creative professional life.

I honestly stumbled into this professional life. I graduated with my BFA in Ceramics in 2006 and thought I would teach and supplement my income through restaurant jobs to support working at art exhibitions. That’s basically the life they taught us we would have in school, but after about a year of that, I ended up quitting my restaurant job while I was between teaching sessions. Someone suggested that I start an Etsy page, and in July of 2007, my life changed forever. I had no idea that this life was even possible, and honestly, at least for the work that I do, I don’t think that it was until Etsy came along.
