Make Product Photography Pop with Basic Photo Editing
Unlock the secrets of professional product photography editing with budget-friendly tips to transform your images from basic to stunning without expensive equipment.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret: most photos don’t look that good straight out of the camera. Even the ones taken by professional photographers with fancy degrees and expensive equipment. All of the product photos you see on high-end websites go through “post processing,” which is just a fancy term for photo editing.
It makes sense when you think about it. The image on the camera is essentially the first draft. Just like a writer will revise their work or an artist will polish their drawing, a photographer edits their photograph to correct mistakes and draw out important details.
Many businesses don’t have a large budget available for professional photos, particularly when your business is new. The good news is that you don’t need to spend any money to improve your product photography. You just need to understand some basic principles. I will show you some of the most common settings you can adjust to help make your product photography pop. I’ve included before and after examples to demonstrate how the settings affect the photo.
