Is Scaling Always A Good Idea?

If you’ve been on the internet for more than a hot second, you’ve probably noticed that everyone in the creative/online business world seem to be obsessed with success stories from “6-figure” and “7-figure” shops. 

According to this “hustle culture,” if your business isn’t making over 100K or even 1 million dollars a year, you’re not quite “there” yet. What “there” means is sadly never really defined which does raise the question:

Is scaling your handmade shop always a good idea? Or is “staying small” sometimes a wiser choice?
