In what ways do you collaborate with other businesses?

Handmade sellers reveal their top collaboration strategies, from knit-alongs and design partnerships to community volunteering and networking tips.

We asked Handmade Seller readers to share their perspectives on our Question of the Month. Here is what they had to say:

I have collaborated with other knitwear designers to host a make-a-long where knitters come and work on our designs together. It's a great way to get to know the people who are interested in your designs and to get your brand known by new knitters. Another thing I've been doing with two other designers for 3 years now is a Christmas Stocking mystery knit-along on Instagram. I've also worked with dyers, designed patterns for a specific yarn. The dyer gets exposure on my Instagram and a piece to display their yarn.
