I started Rebekah Scott Designs in 2003 because I wanted to have children and be able to stay at home to raise them. In order to accomplish this, my husband and I worked hard to become debt-free with the Dave Ramsey program. Eventually, my hubby (seeing how much I itched to sew) said: “Okay, launch your business!” And LAUNCH I did!

I created Rebekah Scott Designs where I design and sew purses and accessories from my studio attached to our farmhouse in rural South Dakota. I chose purses because I love bags! I love the fun punch of color, the ‘hominess’ of a purse, and the feeling I provide to women who get to custom design their own bags. A purse is like your home away from home! It provides a comfort that’s often overlooked.
