For sanity's sake

I had just started out doing market events and was using beautiful cake stands to display my jewelry with my sister in law assisting me in the setup. I had four events scheduled for the season. At every single event she broke a cake stand... accidentally. I told her on the fourth event she could no longer touch them and that I would bring them in and set them up myself. And do you know what? At the last event I ended breaking the cake stand. Now it's a running joke for us! Needless to say, I have taken cake stands out of my display just for sanity's sake! 44 BUSINESS LIFE

An oopsie at a pop-up event

I was having a pop-up show at my home and invited a few artist. One of the artist had some unusual jewelry and my mom( she had Alzheimer) was walking around looking at things and came by the artist. The artist had a few of my friends buying her jewelry and my mom said, "That's the most ugly jewelry I have ever seen. I wouldn't buy such ugly jewelry." It's a good thing that everyone knew my mom had Alzheimer! This event was why I named my shop after her.
