I’ve seen it and if I’m painfully honest with you, I’ve done it myself. When I launched my new business this summer, I obviously created an Instagram account for it. While I knew that I’d be able to sell my services, because I was already selling before it became a real business, setting up the Instagram account felt more like a force of habit than a coherent and thought-out strategy.
I had a rough outline of what I’d be posting and what not, but – and this is the painful part – I didn’t spend more than five minutes thinking about it. I want to help you avoid making the mistake that I did.
Whether you’re trying to create a sales funnel or raise brand awareness on Instagram, there’s one thing that you absolutely cannot skip: thoroughly defining your target audience.
