Why boundaries can save your business
And How to put boundaries in place

We’ve all had a customer that makes us want to tear our hair out, scream as loud as we can, and then go hide under the covers for a few hours. We started our companies because we loved our crafts, not because we wanted to get berated by a woman in another country who doesn’t understand that you can’t possibly overnight anything from Wisconsin to Germany, for example. That might sound a bit outrageous, but chances are you have your own outrageous stories from selling. The purpose of my article today is to reassure you that setting boundaries in business is not only important for your company, but it’s also important to you as a seller and a person. I also want to empower you to decline customers with confidence and kindness because it is very possible to tell someone no while still offering good customer service.
