How to Use Snapchat to Promote Your Business
Tips and strategies to utilize snapchat for your artisan business. We share 4 examples of good strategies, as well as 5 marketing strategies you can use to get started.

According to Khoros, Gen Z now commands 40 percent of all consumer shopping and 57 percent of Millennials have spontaneously purchased something they saw on social media. These numbers are especially important considering the fact that 75 percent of Snapchat users are under 34. For handmade sellers on Etsy, you may start to see a correlation. In fact, knowing that the average demographic for Etsy buyers (your customers) are between 25 - 40 years of age, it’s clear why more and more Etsy shops are leaning towards Snapchat for an effective and untapped “young” market.
Furthermore, The U.S. has the most Snapchat users (101.4 million), and there are 238 million active daily users on the app as well. On top of this, the number of daily video views on Snapchat is 18 million. This means that the small businesses using the app to share their products in video form have a great chance of getting good engagement, especially since a lot of handmade sellers aren’t currently using Snapchat to market their products (the competition is low).
