Are You Ready to Invest in Paid Ads?

Discover the strategic approach to paid advertising for your handmade shop: learn when, why, and how to invest in effective marketing that drives real sales and growth.

In my experience working with makers, I have often found that paying for ads, whether it be on Facebook, Etsy, Google, Pinterest, or anywhere else, is usually one of three things:

A.) A strategic marketing move

B.) A desperate marketing move

C.) A stab-in-the-dark marketing move

Sometimes it is a mix of B and C which is obviously not a great combination.

This isn’t to say that there isn’t a time and a place for paid advertising in your handmade shop’s marketing plan (there is), but we most definitely need to make sure that you are always falling in the first category and that it’s a strategic, well-thought-out decision.

So, how do you know if you are ready for it? Should you use paid ads to grow your handmade shop?

Let’s dive in.
